Grandma: "Explain tattoos to me. Why do you have them? Why do you like them? Answer me that." 
Me: "Could you live in a house where every single wall was white? No pictures or decorations on the walls either. Just white. White everything...?" 
Grandma: "No, it'd be boring..." 
Me: "EXACTLY." 
 (For real, guys? I said white walls to make the point that plain white walls are fucking boring. Has nothing to do with race... You can be black and still have an aversion to living in a house where everything is white. Get a grip and some common sense.)
