A girl goes and begs a tattoo artist to put Drake’s name on her forehead. The artist himself admitted it’s a horribly stupid tattoo and shitty font. When asked about it, Drake said it was cool and he 100% supported it, advocating more stupid tattoos, but for some reason is insanely pissed at the artist.
What’s awful: She got a tattoo of someone’s name on her face. Not even someone she knew, a rapper she’s never met.
How it can be fixed: (Mod comment:) Laser removal…? I really am unsure. I suppose she could get a cover up if she wanted. or bangs?

Now, if this girl wants to get drake’s name tattooed on her, fine. That’s her thing, she can do what she wants. The problem here is that the artist is a fuck up and the lines and spacing are wacked. I also get the feel that drake thinks the idea is cool, but hates the artist because the artist did a fucking shitty job. - Kat
SUBMITTER COMMENT: So this is my friend on Facebook and she just posted a picture of a new piercing her friend gave her. I don’t get why she wouldn’t get this professionally done considering she has a job and is over 18 and wouldn’t spend the extra buck on a good job done by a reputable piercer.
WHAT’S AWFUL: Using a straight barbell on a surface piercing which would most likely cause the piercing to migrate and reject and getting pierced at someone’s home and by someone not professional.
HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: Taking out the barbell and letting it heal and get it re-pierced by a licensed professional with proper jewelry.

Submitter Comment: These clay things came through my dashboard here on tumblr. The girl who sells them makes a bunch of other things, not earrings/plugs, that are nice on her etsy.
What’s Wrong: Even in the picture of the tentacle ones, you can see a fingerprint on the little pink suction cup. They’re not safe to wear, and she has other ones on there. At $10 a pair, and she keeps them under a “gauged earrings” heading in her shop. Oy.

SUBMITTER COMMENT: She did this by herself with fishing line and a scalpel. She’s only 17 or 18. Someone asked why it was crooked and didn’t look long enough, and she said it was and inch and a half long?! and that no one should critique it because she had the “mental strength to go through with it”
HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: HELP?!
SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: I was scrolling through facebook when I came across this. I had to take a second look because I thought it was a badly done henna tattoo.
WHAT’S AWFUL: Everything. The line work is atrocious, it looks like the tattoo machine was dug into this guy’s skin, the punctuation is all wrong and “family” is spelled wrong the first time. Worse than all of that though, is that he apparently got this for all of his friends, and they’re all encouraging it.
HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: I’m no tattoo artist, but I think that a good coverup could fix that, unless the tattoo was done so hard that it will leave visible scarring.
MODERATOR COMMENT: I’m on the fence about this, their other tattoos (what’s visible of them, anyway) look well done. I’m thinking that the text is supposed to look like that. But the omission of the ‘i’ in the first family is a problem. Unless I’m missing a serious Lilo and Stitch ref. where it is actually spelt like that. For the owners sake, I hope it’s supposed to look like that!

To the person about the blooddrive: That is a horrible misconception! It's not within the last year! The guideline is if it's healed. Talk to the head of someone at the redcross near you and tell them about this. Volunteers have been spreading this "info" for years. My cousin was called and asked to give blood, when she informed them that she had a tattoo about 5 months back, the lady got very upset and said that volunteers are giving out wrongful information, she gave blood the next day.
I’ve also been allowed to donate blood to non-red-cross people (blood alliance of Savannah GA) even with a piercing in the last 6 months. Hell, my smilie piercing healed within about a month and I gave blood like a month and a half after getting it done.
Mostly what bothered me about that is that they think claire’s is better than a reputable piercing studio…
short story that pissed me off. i go to school at Penn State, and i'm originally from Jersey. i went to the blood drive and they asked if i had gotten any piercings/tattoos in the past year, and i [obviously] answered yes. they said i couldn't donate unless they were from Claire's or Walmart because the "FDA approved" them. i tried explaining to them that the APP piercer i got my piercings from was far more sterile than either of those and they claimed that they were "clean." i laughed. hard.
This is so wrong. I can’t even deal with this.
