SUBMITTERS COMMENT: This man has pierced his ear with the gun you use to attach price tags to clothing.
WHAT’S AWFUL: After being jammed through clothing all day, some of which could be (pre-worn) returns or thrift store items, the last place the tagging gun needs to be is THROUGH YOUR EARLOBE. Unbelievable unsanitary, not to mention the leftover clothes fibers that will now be...

What it’s supposed to look like!
SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: This lady works with my mom and the “artist” takes his kids to the daycare they work at. The guy comes to your house to tattoo you.
WHAT’S AWFUL: Unprofessional, extremely unsanitary environment, the tattoo is a disaster he didn’t even draw it on before hand for a guide.

Just a heads up...
I went to a popular chain in Canada(and maybe the USA?) called Merle Norman to get my nose pierced earlier in the week. The place itself is fine, they do hair nails and piercings, in separate rooms. I got the piercing done and everything went fine, but then when talking about aftercare, the piercer told me NOT to use salt water because it would dry out the piercing and cause irritation and instead...

SUBMITTER COMMENT:
I decided to tell my story of a recent bad experience I had at a shop. I live in Colorado and I’ve always really wanted a second pair of holes in my earlobes. I swore this would be my last piercing (on my ears) and decided to do it late May of this year. I went to the shop I’ve went to for my last two piercings. They were good, the employees are nice and they also did...

SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: The other day, one of my coworkers came into work with a new nose piercing, claiming she did it herself in her bathroom at home. She did hers and my supervisor’s nose. (Both have quite a few body modifications so I thought they were knowledgeable in this!) I didn’t say anything to her, until the next day. I would like to point out at this time that I work...

it's supposed to be a mermaid...

SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: a girl i know has been wanting a mermaid tattoo for a long time, and she couldn’t wait to turn 18 so she had it done without parental consent. she got it done at this run-down tattoo shop that a friend of her boyfriends works at. this tattoo artist doesn’t ask for id, and the shop is completely unsanitary, but this poor girl wanted a mermaid on...

SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: So, this beautiful gem showed up on my Facebook newsfeed. The girl who got it was PROUD to say she got it done at a Halloween party. Before getting it done, she was asking people if she could do it at their houses, because her mom wouldn’t let her do it at home, something about her grandma getting annoyed or something.
WHAT’S AWFUL: It’s...

Source: A screencap from my friend’s iPod/Instagram Submitter comment: Dat blowout. For someone who’s successful in the entertainment industry, you’d think he’d have enough common sense to just not f*ck up his ears. How it can be fixed: Downsizing, and stretching back SLOWLY, sea salt soaks, oil massages or maybe even having the blowout surgically taken off.

(SOURCE) SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: An old friend recently added me on facebook, so I went through her pictures to see what she had been up to the last couple years and I stumbled upon this. WHAT’S AWFUL: Everything! Having your friend (a complete unprofessional) tattoo you in the unsanitary environment that is your home. The lines are simply horrid; her friends also support her and her...
