this came up on my dash. NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS GOOD.
a.) don’t pierce yourself. If you’re not licensed, have a full understanding about the human anatomy, or have an autoclave, you should not pierce yourself or anyone else.
b.) it’s NOT sanitary. No matter how many times you clean or boil your safety pin, it’s not going to keep you from getting an infection.
c.) it’s not the right tool used to pierce with. A proper piercing needle is hollow and the tip is shaped differently. That safety pin is only good for putting your clothes together. It’s not made for human skin!
d.) you will probably pierce it crooked. She very obviously pierced herself from the outside, when most piercers prefer to do it from the inside out. She obviously has NO knowledge about piercings whatsoever. I hope she didn’t pierce that philtrum by herself…
Just because it’s a decently rendered photograph doesn’t mean it’s any good. Piercing yourself is not a smart idea. People get terrible scars and serious injuries from not seeing a professional piercer.
Pay the extra money and see a professional!!!
