Submitting myself

This, my dear friends, is why you shouldn’t pay $30 for a surface piercing. These pictures were taken on the day of getting the piercing then 4 months later back in 2011. I have since taken it out and it’s healed nicely. I got it pierced in a shop by a guy named Catfish and I’m not entirely sure he knew what he was doing. The placement of the piercing, I’m assuming, was messed up because that dark circle that looks like a bruise under my eye wasn’t there before the piercing and disappeared soon after I took it out. Also, he used a basic curved barbell in the piercing which caused it to get caught on every little thing and was just generally uncomfortable. A mixture of the jewelry and it being too shallow (you could see the bar through the skin) caused me to actually be able to feel it in my skin. The whole piercing was all-around bad. I plan on eventually getting a dermal anchor in the same area by a reputable piercer and I’m definitely going to do my research next time before choosing someone to do it.
