Source: This is me, so I’m the source. Submitter Comment: I pierced my nose back in April for Kurt Cobain’s birthday. Why? I used to be so stupid and irresponsible with my mods. I really wanted it done, so I did it. And it’s not even the first time, my little sister pierced it the first time. Both times I’m pretty sure we used the same sewing needle, after soaking it and the jewelry in Benzalkonium chloride. I thought it was great, I fell in love with the piercing. I walked around with that needle in my face for almost 24 hours before I put a ring in! I walked through the Seatac airport with it. God, I feel so stupid. I got an earring in it, then a few days later switched it for an 18g stretching earring from Hot Topic, and I still have that in my face, so it healed at a curve. I’m so lucky I didn’t get any horrible infections or things like that! What’s Awful: Home piercing! I did it with a sewing needle, kept that in my nose for almost a day, switched it out for a stud earring, then a few days later another earring from Hot Topic so it healed at a curve. It was unsafe, unsanitary, and my piercing is ugly. I should’ve waited to go to a shop and have it done professionally so it looked good. I want to be a body piercer and start an apprenticeship when I turn 18, and I feel I won’t be taken seriously with this horrible ring in my face.Mod comment/How to fix it:Seriously you could just take it out and get it redone. It’s not that hard to fix. :)

Mod comment/How to fix it:
Seriously you could just take it out and get it redone. It’s not that hard to fix. :)
