SUBMITTER CONTENT: I found this wonderful gem while I was - you guessed it - going through my facebook news feed. The photo is of a friend of a friend whom I don’t speak to…
WHAT’S AWFUL: At first glance you’re probably going “Holy crap, that’s a hat pin in that girl’s ear.” First question is… Why? It looks like it’s in the wrong place, and you know what else? She let her two friends put that thing in her ear and leave it there. I quote: “It still stings but great job both of you (y) ♥” and then she proceeds to tag the two aforementioned friends. Mind you, these girls are all 13 and 14. Second thing is, I’m pretty sure that wasn’t sterilized. Just… Just going out on a limb here based off of the why and how that would lead up to this photo.
I can just see this thing either digging in behind her ear before she removes it, or puffing up and getting nasty-crazy infected when she has some actual posts in. I just hope she doesn’t try to stretch that…
HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: 1. Say no to letting your friends wanting to shove anything through your ears, or anywhere else. 2. Take that out, let it heal up, and go to a professional. 3. Parent’s permission is a big key.
