Bad shop or what?

SUBMITTER COMMENT: I was going to make this an ask, but as  I typed it out it just became a long massive story. I’m not sure if it’s me who isn’t educated towards piercings or if it’s the shop.

I just recently got my nose re-pierced, and I got it pierced at a different store this time around. I didn’t feel too comfortable in the place which is weird because most of the shops that I’ve been to were super nice and informative about piercings / tattoos and the after care etc. But this one just gave me a weird vibe. First of all, the woman was super loud like, screaming and goofing off maybe a little too much. She and another coworker were the only two there. The other employee was tattooing a customer and was surrounded by a large group of people who were also blocking the way to the other tattooing / piercing station, it was kind of weird, but whatever I thought it “wasn’t my store wasn’t my rules” type of thing so I brushed it off.  At first even, it was hard to get her attention and I had to stand at the front desk for what it seemed like a longer than usual time.
Then she yells from all the way back of the store, “HEY WELCOME WHAT DO YOU NEED?” I had to yell back over the intense Russian Techno music and over the voices of others that I would like my nose pierced, she asks “HOW OLD ARE YOU?” So I tell her that I’m eighteen. She doesn’t even ask for any driver’s license or I.D. to prove my age. She then decides it’s a good idea to come and hand me some forums etc.
So I sit down, she disinfects the area and pulls out a small cork (which was odd to me atleast.) She turns to me and goes, “Do you want a ring or a stud?” Now I know that normally when you get pierced you typically want to get a stud, I don’t know why but I remember my stepmom would always tell me this. So I tell her a stud. Then she takes the cork and puts it in my face, “IM GONNA FUCKING PUT THIS IN YOUR NOSE” She screams super loud, so everyone is looking at me, which I just kinda laughed it off trying not to draw a lot more of attention. Then after my nose was pierced she said “Normally within the first few weeks you’ll have stinging oozing, pussing, redness swelling and pain.”
I thought those were signs of an infection and you should probably take said piercing out and let it heal. What’s the deal? I have ‘spider bites’ and a few cartilage piercings along with just regular lobe piercings and I’ve NEVER had any of that but I’ve been really thorough with cleaning my shit too.

What’s Awful: I don’t think a piercing (if cleaned well) should be red or oozing.

How it can be fixed: Probably educate yourself and don’t go to sketchy places.
