(SOURCE) SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: I found this while on the “tongue piercing” tag. WHAT’S AWFUL:She pierced it herself and, according to this, the web or frenulum is not the entire bottom of ones tongue. So, I think it’s safe to say, she missed the mark. Also, if that’s what she used to pierce it with, what do you think that is? I’m not even going to begin on all the potential infections and/or problems she may have. HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: The best option is also the most obvious one, take it out and go to a professional. Although I can’t tell from this photo, she also need to be aware that everyone’s anatomy is different, and that hers may not allow for the type of piercing she had in mind.
