SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: So this is my old friend. She actually borrowed some of my polymer clay (at the time I thought it was for a little artsy thing, whatever). Instead she made these “tapers”. I kind of blame myself just a bit, for making some myself but as “spirals”, until I discovered they were hazardous for ears, and threw them out. She, on the other hand is making them (even after I told them they were bad for ears, which she responded “kay cool.”) and is labeling them as “tapers”.The other picture of her foot, is her horrible self done tattoo. Stick and Poke for sure.
WHAT’S AWFUL: Well, polymer clay should not be used for ears. It’s toxic and porous, and even when baked properly, still releases a bad chemical (I’m fairly certain). It’s bad just to put in healed ears, so imagine STRETCHING.Also, the tattoo… she’s doing it in her house, with a sewing needle. She also recently announced that she wants to tattoo her own lip.
HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: Well… dispose of those “tapers” and put in some GOOD plugs. Ones that DON’T harm your ears. and stretch your ears with the taping method. Not the taper method. It’s much better for your ears.
And the tattoo just… stop.
