I just wanna pinch your little cheeks! :3But seriously, sure, maybe some people are happy with their shitty tattoos. And that’s fine. If they’re happy with it, in the end that’s all that really matters, right? But what ISN’T okay is the practices that at-home tattooers/scratchers do. They’re unsafe and not even in the realm of clean. And that puts your HEALTH in danger, perhaps even your LIFE in danger. Sure, people can get infections and other bad shit from professionals, but it is much much much less likely. And, really, at the end of the day, we’re here to let people know that they don’t have to have shitty artwork put on their bodies for the rest of their life if they want a tattoo. A lot of people think that getting a good tattoo is difficult or extremely expensive. Getting even a tattoo that is of decent quality done in a clean environment IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT OR EXPENSIVE (especially compared to the thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills should something go wrong with your scratcher tattoo). Finding an artist who will work with you to create an amazing custom piece that is above and beyond what you ever thought could be done with a tattoo IS NOT THAT DIFFICULT.Perhaps it’s more difficult in bumfuck nowhere where the next tattoo shop is hundreds of miles away. But you know what? If you really care about the art that’s on your body and even possibly your personal well being, you’ll fucking travel.The end.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST NO IT ISN’T I FUCKING SAID THAT.OH MY GOD WE ARE SO POMPOUS BECAUSE WE DON’T LIKE THE THOUGHT OF PEOPLE GETTING SHITTY ARTWORK (but as i said, you like it, fine, your body - but I don’t have to like it either)AND BLOOD TRANSMITTED DISEASES. MOSTLY THE PART ABOUT HOW TO NOT SPREAD VARIOUS TYPES OF HEPATITIS AND HIV AND AIDS. THAT IS SO FUCKING POMPOUS OF US. WE ALSO DON’T LIKE THE THOUGHT OF PEOPLE GETTING THINGS LIKE STAPH INFECTIONS AND (POSSIBLY MEDICINE-RESISTANT) MRSA THAT COULD RACK UP THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN HEALTH BILLS. WOW. SO. FUCKING.
