What’s awful: Both the lobe and the other piercing (rook? tragus?) appear swollen and unhappy. Also, that scabby hole in the back looks like it may have been a piercing gone foul. How it can be fixed: Downsize the plugs? See a professional for all piercings and follow proper aftercare regimens.  MODERATOR COMMENT: Those lobes look perfectly fine to me except for perhaps the placement being VERY close to the face. The anti-tragus piercing looks totally fine. Perhaps the TINIEST bit irritated, but the jewelry looks of proper style and length and it’s also probably the happiest looking anti-tragus piercing I’ve ever seen. The thing in the conch looks like a still-healing conch piercing (punch, about 6g?) with a clear glass plug in it. Perhaps a little crust got stuck under the flare. IT HAPPENS AND IS NOT ABNORMAL. Those piercings look professionally done to me (except perhaps the lobes which due to placement I can only assume were gunned at a younger age). SERIOUSLY THERE IS LIKE ALMOST NOTHING WRONG HERE. I don’t understand you guys sometimes… it’s like you nit pick at the tiniest issues and go OH MY GOD EVEN THOUGH I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS PERSON OR HOW THEY GOT THEIR PIERCINGS THEY TOTALLY GOT THEM DONE IN A BASEMENT/GARAGE/BATHROOM (which is what “see a professional for all piercings” says to me, but nicer). Perhaps that lobe looks the tiniest bit swollen, but honestly due to the color, I’d say the wearable on that plug is just small and might be squishing it.THESE ARE NOT MODS GONE WRONG. At least not wrong enough to bother legitimately assuming they were done incorrectly. -Kat
