SUBMITTER COMMENT: This girl originally got this tattoo at 14-years-old and her brother who was 16. This was her second tattoo. Their father died and that was considered an excuse to give them permission to permanently tattoo their bodies. That aside, this is NOT the memorial tattoo (I won’t submit that one out of respect).
WHAT’S AWFUL: This tattoo was poorly executed. They said that their mother gave consent and the artist was legit. But after some research, they went to a person who was only an apprentice at the time. Yikes. Not even sure they were done in a shop. The lines are wonky. This is AFTER her touchup last year (she was still underage at the time). You can only imagine it beforehand. The lines hardly match up and you can see the breaks in them. The music notes aren’t positioned correctly, proportion is off, the whole notes aren’t hallow, and the notes don’t make any musical melody whatsoever. I’m surprised because she’s a musician. I expected more from her, but I guess this is a classic story of YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!
HOW IT CAN BE FIXED: Obviously touch-ups aren’t working for her. I say consulting a PROFESSIONAL and maybe getting a cover-up. It goes all the way around her slender arm so I’d imagine it’d take a lot of time and effort…
