SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: scrolling through my news feed and this comes up. i knew this guy was an idiot stoner, stretches with electrical tape, shoves bolts and basically whatever in his ears, uses silicone and skips sizes by the truckload, but this was too awful.
WHAT’S AWFUL: “failed attempt” piercing himself, couldn’t even do it “round 2” affecting the most likely already damaged area AGAIN, “my trailer” yeah because that’s sanitary, “gauges” 1) describe the jewelry, not the unit of measurement, 2) suggesting he put even a smaller size other than standard in a fresh (not to mention home-done) piercing.

Seriously? Yes, the guy is an idiot, but no one deserves DEATH wished upon them because they’re an idiot.

Reblogging because I private answered the submitter’s ask apologizing for the comment that I feel doesn’t need apologizing for. My response to the submitter was as follows:
I’m not ashamed, I’m the one who let it through. I thought it was funny as hell and obviously in jest. Had you rephrased it in a more triggering manner (i.e. “kill yourself,” “suicide,” etc.) I absolutely would have deleted the section. Yes, I realize triggers are subjective but so is humor. Personally, I prefer a crude joke to seeing the “Reason” section full of broken record preach, “Get help, go to a professional, get that lasered, say plugs not gauges, think about your life, I bet you weren’t hugged as a baby.”
To the rest of you: it crossed my mind to edit it before posting, but come on guys. Euthanasia by definition, traditionally speaking, is to alleviate the hopelessly ill. We wouldn’t seriously “wish death” upon someone, but stupidity is a hell of an illness, and that was deadpan humor in all it’s glory. If you’d like to further the conversation or maybe just call me an insensitive prick, take it to my personal account; I leave anonymous turned on for this purpose.
