SUBMITTER’S COMMENT: so i got my lip pierced about two years ago and by my friends dad which I know was a horrible idea, also - he pierced it at his house, in a small ass room that he tattoo’s people in - first of all he pierced it too low and put a belly button ring in it, when I changed it to a smaller labret and not a belly button ring I noticed how low it was people always joke around saying I have my chin pierced I want to take it out but I don’t want bad scarring, because I’m a darker completion my scars go VERY dark.
WHATS AWFUL: the placement
I honestly don’t think the placement is too awful (maybe hayley and petra will disagree?). What’s mostly awful is that it was done at your friend’s house with improper jewelry.
If you don’t like it, take it out. What usually happens with retired lip piercings is they just leave a little dimple that will eventually probably heal over. Don’t hold me to that 100% because every body and every situation is different.
Followers, if your friend’s dad or mom or your friend or relative is an actual 100% professional piercer, it’s fine to let them pierce you in the studio. But otherwise, yeah, not okay. And just because they’re your friend/relative, does not mean it’s free or you get discounts unless they say so. To assume otherwise is just rude.
