This is the short story of one famous russian home “bodymod artist”.
He and his client decided to save money on prof. studio environment and do Ear Pointing surgical operation at home, right on the window pane. 
The result was amputation of ear cartilages on day 10th, in the hospital (i have no photos of that).
Morals: never do such serious things at home!
