Right, this will be a bit of a rant, so I apologise in advance.

One thing I cannot STAND is when people let their “friends” do some sort of piercing for them.

If you let your so called “friend” take your health and safety into their untrained hands, then you’re a fucking idiot. 

Back when I was 13/14 I did my own lip piercings, and yes, that was a fucking STUPID idea, if I’d have hit a vein, or a nerve, I could have lost a severe amount of blood or paralyzed half of my face. So in retrospect, I was an idiot for doing it.
My reason? Because my parents wouldn’t let me get my lip pierced - and yes I was 14, I thought I knew best - and I was obviously too young for anywhere to do it for me unless I had parental consent.

So I did them myself. That was fine, they healed perfectly, I took care of them, they were even symmetrical!
I took them out last year because I was pretty sick of having such a cliche piercing to be honest.

Anyway.

One thing about piercing something yourself - I am not condoning it, nor am I saying it’s safe in any way - Is you KNOW how you’re feeling, you can gauge how much pain your going through, YOU can feel it.

Your friend can’t judge that, they’re not a professional.

Oh they did 4893558945 of their own? Lovely, doesn’t mean they know what they’re doing.
You’re risking your own health/safety for a piece of metal?

Don’t be such a douchebag, go to a RECOMMENDED piercing parlour. Do the research before hand.

And if you’re too young to get a piercing, there is a bloody reason for that!

How long it took you to stretch your ears! cause i’ve gone from 1.2 to 7mm in less than a week, and everyone is telling me to slow it down, but it doesnt hurt or anything, and i have kinda fat stretchy lobes anyways :/ maybe im just hard core :p 

You need to slow down and you’re not “hardcore”

It took me 10 months to get to 4g (5mm)
