In all honesty, it looks like it was about to pop out anyway.  If anyone notices a red line creeping along the surface piercing from the balls inwards, it’s basically doomed. It’s highly recommended to go back to a reputable piercer and get it removed ASAP, before it falls out! (You have very nice orbitals though) You can treat scarring with frequent oil massages when there’s no more broken skin.

The rises are way too long, and the bends must be 90 degrees, not 45, not 30, not 20. This is a pile of shit, and when you pay $30 for a surface piercing… well, rest assured you aren’t getting a quality piece of jewelry.

scarymonsterariel: I did it on my pinky to promise myself for a fresh start and a new beginning. :) How about you take it out as a promise to: Not pierce yourself and put yourself at extreme risk from infection and pierce it so badly and so shallow that I could rip it out with enough force. Fresh starts and new beginnings are great. Just they really don’t need to be signified with bad self piercing in an awful location.

I’d really recommend taking that out ASAP, otherwise you’ll be left with a load of deep scar tissue, and a nasty scar to boot!  If anyone ever sees the red lines of doom on a surface piercing, it needs to be out ASAP! So…. if your piercer wants to put jewellery in your surface piercing something else than the last two, DON’T LET HIM DO IT ! Surface piercings need to have a barbell with 45° or 90° angles, in TITANIUM. I know some piercers are not okay with that, but mostly all the piercers put titanium now. PTFE or Bioplast was way long ago ! In some rare cases, people who start to reject their piercings, can be helped with PTFE or bioplast barbells… but… that can be considered as a miracle ;) Missdy
