Anyone know why my ear won’t stretch?
I’ve had the 1.5mm stretcher in for like 5 days (pathetic, I know) and I’m trying the 2mm one now and it just won’t go through! It’s pissing me off ¬¬ It hurts and I don’t want to tear it but surely it should be working??
Because stretching isn’t a race, and a small size by no means is pathetic. It’s a sign of listening to your body.
It’s not going through because it’s still fresh. Your skin hasn’t relaxed and calmed enough to be able to stretch up yet, meaning if you try and force it through, your skin and piercing will become damaged and aggravated.
Waiting at least a month between sizes is the only way to stretch, no matter what method.
What Is Your Opinon On Gauging your Cartilage.?

If you can’t even use the right term for stretching, you shouldn’t be doing anything as heavy as stretching cartilage.
It’s fine, just 6 months per mm and don’t expect it to be as pain free and easy as lobe stretching. Tape wrap method works best for this.
In the last few days I gauged my ears from a 14 straight to an 8
Kind of by accident, but luckily my ears are fine. I have 8g plugs in right now, but I can’t freaking wait to get them bigger and buy bigger plugs.
Your ears must absolutely despise you. It should take about three months to get to 8g. Not a night.

I hate getting so ragey so early in the morning but.
So much taper fail.
I can;t stress this enough guys, if you’re worried about money, time and funds, then stretching isn’t for you. It’s a very expensive time consuming process to do correctly, and is classed as a ‘serious modification’. It needs to be done correctly, or not done at all.

Gauge the No Pain
I’m gauging my ears and I started a while ago and it’s been pretty easy, I mean don’t get me wrong there were times it hurt but not as bad as trying to get to 0 OUCH!
My boyfriend has been bugging the shit out of me to hurry up and gauge up but I haven’t been wanting to and then finally I tried about twoeks ago and I got through tapering one and it hurt so damn bad that I was on the floor wanting to cry, kick and scream! I was never able to get the flare in my ear and with all the pain of trying to get it in my ear I gave up and threw it all across the room cause I was so pissed and in pain lol. Mr.Carlos just suggested to me the other night about the measurements of the gauges and how there is such a jump between two and zero and since he is an aircraft mechanic teehee there’s two sizes of hillocks that will help me to get to zero without having to go through all that pain.
I took him up on his offer and now I’m sitting here with airplane hillocks in my ears lol, I feel silly but whatever works right?
